Juan Martín Azerrat es Doctorando en Ciencia Política y Licenciado en Administración Pública de la Universidad Nacional de San Martín (UNSAM). Becario Doctoral CONICET 2019-2024 (IIDyPCa/CONICET-UNRN) dirigido por la Dra. María Celeste Ratto. Trabajando con el plan de «¿Por qué un productor agropecuario elige ser agroecológico? Valores e ideas ambientales en el campo argentino (1994-2021)».

Miembro e investigador del Área de Ambiente y Política (AAP) de la Universidad Nacional de San Martín en el cual, además, es el compilador de los Boletines Anuales del Área. Miembro e investigador del Instituto de Investigaciones en Diversidad Cultural y Procesos de Cambio (IIDyPCa) de bipertenencia CONICET-UNRN radicado en San Carlos de Bariloche.

Ha publicado y participado en diversas revistas y congresos. La últimas últimas publicaciones son “Ambiente, Sustentabilidad y Desigualdad: el caso del Vertedero de San Carlos de Bariloche (2001-2019)” en la Revista POSTData (2022) y “Coronavirus in Latin America. The effectiveness of government measures during the first wave of the outbreak” en Social Science Quarterl y Journal en coautoría junto a Celeste Ratto, Daniela Zacharias y Juan Cabrera

Juan Martín Azerrat is a Ph.D. student in Political Science and has a degree in Public Administration from the National University of San Martín (UNSAM). CONICET Doctoral Scholar 2019-2024 (IIDyPCa/CONICET-UNRN) directed by Dr. María Celeste Ratto. Working with the plan «Why does an agricultural producer choose to be agroecological? Environmental values ​​and ideas in the Argentine countryside (1994-2021)».
