Ricardo Gutiérrez
Ricardo A. Gutiérrez es Licenciado en Ciencia Política y Magister en Investigación en Ciencias Sociales por la Universidad de Buenos Aires y PhD in Political Science por la Johns Hopkins University. Se desempeña como profesor titular y Decano de la Escuela de Política y Gobierno de la UNSAM y como investigador principal del CONICET. Su agenda de investigación aborda las múltiples interacciones entre actores estatales, sociales y económicos en el debate sobre la protección ambiental en América Latina. Actualmente realiza investigaciones sobre políticas ambientales en Argentina con enfoque en la protección de bosques nativos y la política climática. Es autor de numerosas publicaciones (artículos, libros y capítulos) sobre América Latina con foco en Argentina y Brasil. Ricardo A. Gutiérrez holds a BA in Political Science and a MA in Social Science Research from the University of Buenos Aires and a PhD in Political Science from Johns Hopkins University. He is a full professor and Dean of the School of Politics and Government at UNSAM and a senior researcher at CONICET. His research agenda addresses the multiple interactions between state, social, and economic actors in the debate on environmental protection in Latin America. He currently conducts research on environmental policies in Argentina, focusing on the protection of native forests and climate policy. He is the author of numerous publications (articles, books, and chapters) on Latin America, focusing on Argentina and Brazil.
